Friday 29th August:  Station Tours & Welcome Party

Saturday 30th August: Conference & Bilby Awards Dinner at Lakes Resort, West Lakes.

Our conference included:

Friday evening – Station tours of WOWfm and light dinner & drinks at PBA FM Salisbury, with buses provided from the conference venue and back.

Saturday workshops – sessions included Codes Of Practice, Managing challenges in volunteer environments, Practical voice techniques, Recruiting training and retaining volunteers with disability, Introduction to audio storytelling, Sponsorship models and community partnerships.

Bilby Awards dinner: 3 course dinner, photo booth, quiz and the awards presentations.

A record 140 people from 27 community media organisations came together for 2 days in August for the 39^th SACBA Conference and Bilby Awards, celebrating excellence in community broadcasting.
